Ashlyn May... 4 Months Old & Shrinking?

Though I'm obviously still cute as a button, I have taken a few steps back as of weight gain lately. At my 4 month check-up I only weighed in at just over 11 pounds. The nurse said I should be closer to 14 lbs at my age, so she wanted to see me again in a week. Well, mommy took me in a week later and unfortunately I had dropped weight again. My most current weight: 10 lbs 12 oz. My doctor, Dr. Okey, told mom to try feed me formula after breast feeding and maybe that would help. The problem with that however, I don't do bottles. I'm all natural if you know what I mean. So mom has a syringe she can use if I won't suck on the bottle. I'm slowly learning, but not with a lot of progress. Mom and dad have also started me on some solid food, well rice cereal anyways if you can call that solid. So far I've only had it once, and I have mixed reviews. Let's just say the jury is still out on that one. Look at me pretty-o on my video...

Ashlyn, you and Nora should get together. You sound like you have the same habits- projectile puking, puking in general, more puking and not wanting to eat from a bottle. But, little Nora has no problem packing on the pounds and after much persuading has learned to take a bottle so her mom can get away every once in a while. These are some of the things that we tried- making sure the water was warm, really warm, trying all different kinds of nipples. Nora's nipple of choice- the playtex wide all rubber one. Good luck!

Just took a look at the pics (Feb 2007) of Ashlyn on The Man's shoulders -- little studette, your whole body is barely bigger than your daddy's head! (although the general consensus is that The Man's head is a bit overinflated, so maybe that isn't saying much?). Grow, grow grow!
