Ashlyn The Explorer

(First off, I better say this was obviously daddy's day of taking care of Ashlyn. It's past noon, we're both in pj's and both our hair is unkempt.)
So we decided to start getting Ashlyn used to using the toilet, and what better way to get it going than by incorporating Dora the Explorer into the equation. Ashlyn loves Dora for some reason, has all her sippy cups, and now a toilet seat for her toilet.

However, to Heather's dismay, at first the seat was used as a hat instead of it's recommended function. We soon got her to stop it, but it was still pretty funny.
I'm gonna spare you the shots of her really using it, and the evidence of her success, but suffice it to say she loves her little toilet seat and is actually pretty good at knowing when she needs to go. And by pretty good, I mean like a quarter of the time, but she's definitely getting better. The best part is when she gets off of it, because the first thing she'll say is, "Chocolate?" Funny girl. The hope is to get her out of diapers by the time the next one comes! So far it's lookin' promising!! Thanks Dora!
Here's another Ashlyn Milestone: Counting to 10 (She missed a number.. I know...)

Codee used to skip the #4 too! Have fun with that! I am pretty much on the other end of the potty training! Wahoo! Codee only has an accident when we don't get her there quick enough. :)
