Big Boy

Earlier this month Jaxon had his 2 month check-up.
Weight: 13 lbs 4 oz (75-90 percentile)
Length: 23 inches (50 percentile)

The doctor called him the anti-Ashlyn because he is growing so fast. He now weighs about the same that Ashlyn did at 8 months! My boy needs to slow down!

I will say though that he is one of the happiest, smiliest 2 month olds that I've ever seen. Maybe it comes with the size...

Abraham Lincoln, when practicing as a lawyer, said he liked fat men on the jury, because they were jollier and easier to persuade.

Well, on the bright side, Ashlyn can probably sit on him and he'd be okay!

WOW! He is a big boy! And Ashlyn looks really big compared to when you lived in GJ! I think I would be a happy baby too if I lived in warm, beautiful Hawaii! We miss you guys! - Colleen

Hey Heather and Jason...I came across your blog and had to comment. Your kids look great and you guys seem to be doing well over on the islands. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Hope all is well.

I love that picture! He's a BIG boy! Jason, if you need me to teach you self-defense, let me know. I'd hate to see Jaxon manhandling you in a couple years....

you know, i'd like to know how your genes are so dominant -- both of your kids are so asian-looking -- other than ethan, various postmen could easily be credited for all my kids!

jaxon hai ho fei-jiai!

(i've been trying to teach james a bit of chinese -- starting with "fei jiai" -- he's no marshmallow puff either!)

That's what happens when you stay in Hawaii too long...you get big old Hawaiian boys as sons! You guys should just come back and hang out with us! Please!?

Oh my goodness he is adorable!! What a perfect smile haha! Jason, Matt saw your story on Manti Te'o a couple weeks ago, it was great. It was getting passed all over the place via email and stuff with a bunch of BYU students interested in recruits (too bad he chose Notre Dame though eh?). Anyway the Tang legend lives on at BYU.

Wow! That's a big boy! Bailee is 14 months and she only weighs 17lb.! The Dr. thought I was starving her and told me to start really pushing the solid foods. I said, she doesn't eat baby food and she eats 3 times as much as Codee! Like 3 whole pieces of pizza! He said, "Oh! She is just little then." I'm like, ya, I am not starving my baby. Sorry, that was reallyu long :)
