The Hawaiian Adventures of Dad & Nancy - Day 1 & 2

Dad and Nancy flew in on to Honolulu on Monday, March 2nd. They pretty much ate dinner and went to bed.
The real adventures began the next day. On Tuesday we went to the Polynesian Cultural Center for the entire day, but first made a stop at the Macadamia Nut Farm where we sampled all kinds of different flavors of Mac Nuts, and even cracked a few open with a rock.

At the PCC we were lucky enough to get passes for all of us to the villages and the night show, not the Luau though, we had our own little Luau at McDonald's across the parking lot. Ashlyn really wanted to ride on the canoe, so off Nancy and Dad went while Jason and Heather took pictures and walked with Jaxon.

While visiting the different villages, we played a spear throwing game at the Isle Kingdom of Tonga. Nancy's form looks good here, but her spear was way off. :) Can you see the spear in the pic?

Dad got it into the circle, but the photo shows an obvious foot foul. After two practice throws T-Cubed even tried to win a prize. In the end, he came out one dollar poorer.

And here's where Jax stayed the entire day, poor guy, nobody wanted to break their back holding him.

It rained for part of the day, but it didn't damper our fun. We had a fun and long day at the PCC!

Day#3 Coming up tomorrow!

It looks like good times. Can't wait to see more of your adventures or to have some of my own. I'm getting the Hawaii bug or I'm just missing you all.

Jaxon looks like a tank. Better yet a sumo wrestler.
